Who We Are
The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
What We Do
We work on a national and local level to provide care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias. We conduct in person and virtual support groups and education programs in communities Monterey County and work to ensure that these services reach underserved populations. Our free nationwide 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) is staffed by master’s-level clinicians and specialists, providing confidential support and information to all those affected, in over 200 languages. Locally, families will be connected to our Family Care Specialist, who will create a care plan and connect them to local resources.
