Menus, recipes, and ingredients are provided for you to make amazing home cooked meals in our commercial kitchen and serve them to our homeless and housing insecure guests. We have various shifts available, especially Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. To become a regular GFW volunteer you are required to complete a Volunteer Application and Live Scan (fingerprinting). The Food Transport role is critical to our nutritious food service and includes pick-up from the Food Bank and Smart and Final. Note that some of it is heavy to lift. You will need an SUV or Van or you can use our van if you have a clean driving record. We need someone Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings for Smart and Final and Tuesday mornings for the Food Bank. Maximum time commitment two hours.
