Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula: Dining Room Assistant - Active Seniors Lunch

Meals on Wheels Community Center offers a three-course, hot lunch daily to active seniors and they need YOUR assistance! 

Serve seniors in need while having fun connecting with members of your local community. 

Servers are needed from 10:30am to 1:00pm.

Many of these shifts will have live entertainment and activities to engage in! No prior experience needed, training is provided.

The Meals on Wheels Community Center offers lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 12:30.

Will assist dining room manager to serve, clear, serve beverages.

Monday - Friday shifts  

10:30 to 12:30 or 1:00

Drivers report to the Meals on Wheels facility at 700 Jewell Ave. in Pacific Grove in the morning between 8:45a.m. and 10:00a.m.

Pick up prepackaged meals for 5 to 15 clients. Meals are delivered and transported equipment is returned to Meals on Wheels.

This position generally requires any where from 1 hour to two hour commitment one day a week depending on the route.

 

Kitchen prep volunteers work with our kitchen staff in sandwich and lunch preparation for meals to be delivered to our clients.

Times Vary starting at 7:00am, 7:30, 8:00 and last shift at 8:30 until 10:00am

 

10:00am to 12:00pm is kitchen prep for the following day organized by the chefs.
