Volunteer: Multiple Volunteer Opportunities Throughout the Year!

The future begins today. Special Kids Connect is impacting the lives of Monterey County's 10,000+ children with special needs. You can be an integral part of making a difference! Here are a variety of ways in which you can help. Volunteers integral to SKC's REACH recreational & academic programs, community outreach events, and fundraisers. These opportunities are perfect for high school and college students in need of community service hours, or who just want to give back to their community!

We always appreciate volunteers who are bilingual (Spanish speakers or those fluent in American Sign Language). Depending on the program, we may seek volunteers with additional special skills, such as musicians, photographers, athletes, etc.

Because many programs take place on-site at various locations around Monterey County, our v volunteers generally need access to transportation in some capacity.

All programs require all participating wear a mask, whether indoors or outdoors. This may change depending on local and state guidelines, the comfort level of our families, and COVID diagnosis rates in the county.

We provide training for all our volunteers and have experienced staff members on-site to provide support.

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to kindly download and complete a volunteer application and send it to jennifer@specialkidsconnect.org.

For more information on REACH volunteer opportunities and others throughout the year, email info@specialkidsconnect.org or call (831) 372-2730.
