Volunteer: Board of DirectorCommunity Builders for Monterey County is seeking two passionate individuals this year, who understand the incredible value that volunteers bring to communities. While we truly value nonprofit experience, it is not required that you have served on a previous nonprofit board. If you are familiar with board best practices, have a strong understanding of the nonprofit community of Monterey County, and you are able to work well with a diverse group of creative, out-of-the-box professionals creating big impact, we'd love to connect! Your commitment is about 5 hours a month (which includes a monthly board meeting,) and a yearly working retreat prior to the beginning of our fiscal year (usually during the summer.) We also would love for you to grow so incredibly passionate about our mission, that you want to share it with your colleagues and friends to help grow our support base.
