Who We Are
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
What We Do
Serving Salinas since 1984.
Our center provides a wide range of services for the community including: guitar, ukulele, line dancing, senior dance class, and chair fitness classes every week.
An after school program for kids attending elementary school. The program includes the following: homework assistance, team building activities, crafts, snacks and dinner.
Our Social services include: Food bank distribution once a week, Children and adult diapers, emergency food boxes, non-cooking food bags, Thrift store vouchers, Hygiene kits, and other items as they are available.
