American Cancer Society Discovery Shop- Salinas

We are a nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Currently, there are over 40 Discovery Shops in California. These shops raise millions of proceeds to support the American Cancer Society's efforts to combat cancer. there is limited paid staff per shop, the remaining staff consists of volunteers. They are dedicated, hardworking, and loving. Volunteers have been touched in some way. Therefore volunteers are vital to this organization. We need help with cashiering, sales, screening, pricing, displays and merchandising, clerical work, and bookkeeping.
