Healing and Reconciliation Institute

Our organization started in Taos, NM with a pilot project and a group of women discussing the innate connection between instances of harm and potentials for healing. Today we are an Indigenous-led nonprofit based in Rumsen and Esselen territory (Carmel, CA), partnering with and serving organizations, businesses, clients, and change-makers through-out the United States.

The Healing and Reconciliation Institute offers consulting, education, peacemaking, and Indigenous governance support. We work toward a more resilient future by bridging Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives, addressing historical and ongoing harms by facilitating a framework for repair.
