To engage the public to conserve and learn about birds and wildlife, we host field trips, lectures, and support bird monitoring projects. Volunteers are the core of who we are, so you'll meet them at our events or while they support the chapter.
Our community science activities include Point Pinos Seawatch, Black Oystercatcher monitoring, Heermann's Gull monitoring, and other surveys. We advocate for bird protection and improving habitat for birds and wildlife.
Field trips happen regularly each month with a wide variety of offerings, and are led by experienced bird and nature enthusiasts.
All are welcome to participate in our community.
