Who We Are
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people closer to nature through hands-on experiences in community-based habitat restoration and environmental education. We are passionate about native plants and serve communities throughout Monterey County and are always looking for volunteers to join our cause.
What We Do
We provide services to local schools and public groups. We have an Education branch which takes children from local schools on environmental education field trips to a local open space and the kids usually clean-up or participate in a restoration project. We have a Community or Public Branch dedicated to hosting free events in local beaches or parks and people can participate in cleanups or restoration projects. Lastly, we have a Greenhouse Branch where volunteers are welcome to take part in growing our native plants that we then use at our events. Currently we are offering remote and onsite volunteering opportunities.
