Please join Habitat Stewardship Project for our park cleanup/ planting event and a way to learn more about where you live, meet new people, get community service hours, and help protect our natural areas. Volunteers are invited to help keep this area clean and safe for our people by picking up litter, pruning shrubs, pulling harmful invasive weeds, and planting native species throughout the park.
All are welcome to this family friendly event!
Some Background: Upper Carr Lake is vital to the Gabilan watershed, what flows through it will also flow through the bay. More than 80% of plastics and pollution that are in the ocean comes from land sources. At this event we will be continuing our efforts of stewardship and restoration.
