Community Builders for Monterey County

In the summer of 2017, Community Builders for Monterey County (CBMC) began to engage community members to address important local issues through education, workshops, advocacy, outreach and programming. CBMC now works across sectors to empower everyday citizens to take action to strengthen the infrastructure for our county.

In addition to the above, CBMC collaborates with nonprofits on on-going needs — such as finding valued board members, connecting community members interested in continuous volunteering, and to collaborate on larger-scale events for meaningful impact for organizations. In addition, CBMC supports organizations in our Monterey County communities by providing this database to power their connections with community members interested in volunteering.
