In the summer of 2017, Community Builders set out to mobilize and support community engagement to address local needs that affect our communal livelihood, and to cultivate a unique sense of home, identity and local culture, through education, workshops, advocacy, outreach and related programs. We are working across sectors and within the community to achieve a dynamic, connected and compassionate Monterey County where no one is left on the sidelines.

Here at Community Builders, we believe doing good ought to be easier. That finding opportunities to volunteer to support Monterey County shouldn’t mean endless scrolling through lists of nonprofits, needs and outdated information. Through Volunteer Connect we work with a growing network of 90 nonprofits, promoting their calls for volunteers to move their missions forward through our social media, monthly newsletter, volunteer portal and personal recommendations, making it easier to find opportunities that meet your interests, availability and needs.
