The Big Sur Food and Wine Festival, Nov 2- 4, 2023 is our annual event that is the premier fund raising vehicle for our beneficiaries in the community of Big Sur.
We host events at multiple locations all over Big Sur, some public and iconic spaces, some private properties. All of our events combine the artistry and skill of wine makers, chefs, performing artists and friend in hospitality and travel to celebrate the unique community of Big Sur.
We raise funds to support Big Sur Fire, The Henry Miller Library, the Big Sur Fiddle Camp, the Big Sur Health Center and several other beneficiaries. You will meet some of their staff members within our volunteer crew during the festival. We are, in fact, an all volunteer organization, so we come to the wider community to help make this festival a success.
We are recruiting people to help with deliveries/logistics/set up days prior to and during the festival as well as days after for strike, clean up and LOTS of glass polishing! We have some volunteer shifts at the festival events as well, and we are in particular need of those with table service/restaurant experience.
We ask all volunteers to work 2 shifts minimum, with one of those being pre/post festival with our support needs for set up/strike.
